City’s final victory over Arsenal last month was the ninth time we have lifted the trophy since its inception in 1960.
That day saw Bernardo Silva lead celebrations under the Wembley arch and join an elite list of City captains to have been at the heart of League Cup success.
Tony Book wore the armband for our first win in 1970 before Mike Doyle led us to a second triumph six years later.
Vincent Kompany was the man to get his hands on the trophy in 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2019, before David Silva and Fernandinho followed on in 2020 and 2021 respectively
All of those have now been celebrated in a special mural, painted on a wall at the City Football Academy.
