Enjoy our selection of some standout City goals from previous clashes away to Arsenal.

Ahead of Wednesday’s eagerly awaited latest Premier League trip to the Emirates, we have delved into the archives to select some of our outstanding goals away to Arsenal.

It’s also a selection with a special twist as we’ve plumped for the best left-footed strike, right-footed effort, header, counter-attacking goal and free-kick against the Gunners.

We kick off with a sublime and instinctive Yaya Toure left-footed effort from our game back in December 2015 which left Arsenal keeper Petr Cech helpless.

Next up is a stunning Kevin De Bruyne right-footed strike from City’s fine 3-0 win at the Emirates in December 2019.

We continue with a quite brilliant Nicolas Anelka header at Highbury back in September 2002.

The assist honours fall to Michael Johnson thanks to his brilliant run and pass to set up DaMarcus Beasley for a great strike at the Emirates from 2007.

And last, but by no means least, we round off with Riyad Mahrez‘s penalty from last January’s dramatic 2-1 win away to Mikel Arteta’s men.
