In the latest episode of our feature that remembers our best moments against our Premier League opponents, we take a look at some classic away goals against Brighton.

We kick off our latest collection with a sumptuous Phil Foden finish from our trip to the Amex two years ago in May 2021.

The England international powered forward more than 40 yards up the left flank before cutting in and despatching a quite brilliant left footed strike for City.

Next up is a right-footed Riyad Mahrez rocket from May 2019 which powered City towards a decisive 4-1 win at Brighton - and so clinching the 2018/19 Premier League title.

For our choice of header we rewind to July 2020 and a behind closed doors clash which saw Raheem Sterling rise to glance home a neat finish from Mahrez‘s pinpoint cross as part of his hat-trick in a 5-0 City triumph.

The counter-attack selection is a textbook example of City at our devastating best in 4-1 win from October 2021.

Phil Foden applied the thumping finish to a stunning move which saw Jack Grealish tee up his City and England colleague from Bernardo Silva’s inviting pass.

And last, but by no means least, its back to May 2019 and another seaside special, this time from Ilkay Gundogan, as the German’s exquisite free-kick sealed that title-clinching 4-1 win.

With City travelling to the south coast having clinched a third consecutive Premier League crown, Pep Guardiola‘s side will be hoping for more classic strikes.
