The boss was speaking ahead of our trip to the Foxes on Saturday after previously mentioning the Spaniard’s intelligent running.
When asked why he’d made the comparison, Pep said: “I didn’t compare Ferran Torres with Jamie Vardy.
“I said Ferran has quite similar movements. Ferran has to eat a lot of soup at dinnertime to be compared with Jamie Vardy and what he has done in his career!
“Ferran has just started, Vardy has done amazing things and I am a big fan of him as a striker.
“I made the comment because Vardy likes to make the movement in behind.
“Normally strikers don’t, but Ferran also likes to make that movement in behind. That was the point.”
