Pep Guardiola says his focus is completely on Leicester City and not next week’s Champions League clash with Real Madrid.
City are four points clear of third-place Leicester going into Saturday’s Premier League clash and are looking to complete the double over Brendan Rodgers’ side.
Pep says he won’t use this game to try out formation changes or tactics he might use against the Spaniards.
“It was 12 since the last game with Spurs before we played West Ham and the team was not used to time without games,” said Pep.
“It’s not just about trying to extend the gap over Leicester - if we play well we go with more confidence to Madrid - but I won’t be going in thinking about Madrid.
“This performance at Leicester can help us to win the game.”
