Foden has five Premier League titles, while Lewis claimed his first top-flight medal this season and both have played a huge part in the team’s successes so far this term.

Foden was overjoyed after adding to his 2018/19 FA Cup winning medal.

He said: “I’m over the world! To win it here at Wembley against United, with us being Academy players as well is extra special.

“We both did the same process, we went through the full Academy and it’s been a ride. It’s gone quickly. Now I’m here enjoying the moment with the fans.”

Lewis added: “Phil has done the journey before me so it’s a bit clearer for me that it’s possible. That it does work going through the Academy. It’s a dream come true.
