Erling Haaland struck his sixth hat-trick for the club, Julian Alvarez netted twice and Cole Palmer found the net in a clinical display to progress into the last four of the competition.

Lewis stressed the importance of the victory and is excited for the upcoming trip to Wembley Stadium.

“For me, it’s been a dream my whole life to play at the stadium [Wembley].

“Hopefully we then progress to the final and win something there, that would be the pinnacle for me. Getting there in the first place is massive for me.

“It’s massive to be able to score that many goals and also keep the clean sheet at the back. We’re showing we’re solid at the back and we’re not conceding many chances.”
