Rico Lewis has showered praise on Erling Haaland after his hat-trick inspired Pep Guardiola's men to a 3-1 Premier League victory over West Ham.

Haaland stroked us ahead after ten minutes, before a Ruben Dias own goal levelled matters at the London Stadium.

Haaland then latched onto Lewis’ pass to blast into the roof of the net, before calmly dinking in his third goal with seven minutes left to play.

The Norwegian now has seven goals in three Premier League games this season and has 70 top-flight goals in 69 appearances.

“It’s unbelievable,” said Lewis. When he goes through you’re almost certain he’s going to score.

“That’s something that is helping us every game. When we’re in a tough spot, maybe we need a goal, he’s the man at the moment.

“I just thought i’ll give it him in the box. Nine times out of ten when he’s got a shot off in there, he’s going to score.

“So yeah I’m buzzing with that.”

The Englishman also spoke about the mood inside the dressing room after our perfect start to the campaign and touched on how he’s feeling after starting three matches in a row.
