Relive a memorable night at Anfield from a different angle.

A vintage Manchester City display from one to eleven, if any more of a statement were needed in terms of our title credentials, then the imperious display Pep Guardiola’s men put on against the champions was a case in point.

Ilkay Gündoğan made amends for a first half penalty miss when he was on hand to poke home from Phil Foden’s rebounded shot inside 5 minutes of the start of the second half.

And the German’s rich vein of scoring form continued 25 minutes later when he combined with Foden once again, pouncing on an Allison mistake to cancel out Mohamed Salah’s equaliser just after the hour from the spot.

City were in dreamland three minutes later when Raheem Sterling headed home Bernardo Silva’s exquisite dinked ball from close-range, after the Portuguese schemer had forced another defensive mistake in the high press.

And the victory was all but guaranteed when Foden got in on the act late on, cutting in on his left before rifling a vicious effort into the roof of the net to move us five points clear at the top of the Premier League.

Richard Dunne and Nedum Onuoha were on hand to wax lyrical about our magnificent display on We’re Not Really Here, and in amongst the highlights you can hear the defensive duo’s thoughts on the game.
