Go behind-the-scenes as City returned to winning ways in the Premier League with a 2-1 victory over Brighton.

We saw Pep Guardiola’s squad return to the Etihad Stadium following the international break where a plethora of City stars represented their respective countries.

The last time Brighton travelled to Manchester, we breezed past the Seagulls with a 3-1 victory, courtesy of an Erling Haaland brace and Kevin De Bruyne goal to finish proceedings.

This season, however, with Roberto De Zerbi’s men off to a positive league start – picking up 16 points in their opening eight matches – Guardiola and the players were expecting a much more difficult game.

Last weekend’s match saw two quick goals by Julian Alvarez and Erling Haaland before the 20-minute mark to give City a comfortable lead before substitute Ansu Fati halved the deficit in the 73rd minute.

City were able to see out the win and secure all three points as we moved back to the top of the Premier League table, until Tottenham’s victory on Monday Night Football.
