Gabriel Jesus said he was delighted to provide the finishing touch after coming off the bench to fire City to victory at Leicester.
The Brazilian made an almost instant impact at the King Power Stadium, firing home an 80th minute winner from Riyad Mahrez’s superb run and assist.
And Gabriel said it was especially satisfying for him after he had endured a frustrating night in front of goal during last Wednesday’s 2-0 win against West Ham.
“I was very happy as in the last game I four chances and missed so today I came on and the second chance I got I scored which was amazing for me and I’m very happy,” said Jesus.
“Leicester are a very good team with a lot of quality… it was a tough game and we created chances.”
