The Northern Irishman latched onto Ezgjan Alioski’s through ball and raced clear of the City defence before sliding the ball through Ederson’s legs to claim a dramatic victory for his team.
Dallas was Leeds’ two-goal hero, having opened the scoring with a low drive that went in off the post from 18-yards shortly before Liam Cooper was sent off for a tackle on Gabriel Jesus.
City poured forward against the 10-man visitors in the second half, who defended stoically until Ferran Torres’ swept home Bernardo Silva’s pass to level the scores.
Guardiola’s men continued to press for a winner, but were undone by a swift counter-attack that allowed Dallas to fire past Ederson.
