Our Nissan Goal of the Month vote is back and we’ve got a sensational list of goals for you to choose from.

Pep Guardiola’s side extended our unbeaten run in the Champions League to 17 games and returned to winning ways in the Premier League while Gareth Taylor’s squad went unbeaten in all competitions in the first month of the 2023/24 campaign.

It’s been another action-packed four weeks of football for City with 22 goals scored in 10 games across the men’s and women’s matches, which made it tricky to narrow down a shortlist for the Nissan Goal of the Month.

Chloe Kelly v Chelsea

Our first Barclays Women’s Super League home game of the season saw our 9-player squad draw to Chelsea. England international Chloe Kelly gave City the lead with a stunning shot from the edge of the box in front of a sold out crowd at the Joie Stadium.

Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw v Everton

Our striker Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw was in fine form during our 2-1 win over Everton in the Continental Cup. City’s high press was rewarded when Mary Fowler regained possession inside Everton’s box. The Australian international played the ball into an unmarked Shaw who fired the ball into the roof of the net with ease.

Julian Alvarez v Brighton

Our Argentine wonder has continued to add goal contributions to his tally and his latest was a first-time finish against Brighton. Jeremy Doku flaunted his pace and quick feet before cutting the ball back towards the edge of the box and into the path of Alvarez just seven minutes into the match.

Erling Haaland v Brighton

City’s number nine extended our lead against Brighton with a precise strike. After driving towards the opposition’s box, Haaland’s left footed shot was placed perfectly out of reach for goalkeeper Jason Steele who couldn’t get down in time to deny Haaland his ninth Premier League goal in as many games.

Chloe Kelly v Leicester City

The City forward just can’t stop scoring goals! In her second nomination, Kelly’s goal against Leicester was the decisive factor in City securing all three points on the road. Jill Roord’s fantastic run towards the opposition’s goal left Kelly unmarked on the right-hand side. Roord picked out Kelly with a composed no-look pass and allowed the winger to fire the ball home.

Erling Haaland (second) v Manchester United

A second nomination, also, for Haaland after his fabulous performance in our Manchester derby triumph. Beautiful link-up play between Jack Grealish and Bernardo Silva on the left-hand side allowed the latter to chip the ball towards goal and a rising Haaland who headed the ball past Andre Onana with ease for his second of the match.
