On this day in 2011 Manchester City beat Stoke City to win the FA Cup.

It was a momentous day at Wembley Stadium, where Yaya Toure drilled home a 76th minute winner to end our 35-year wait for a major trophy.

Roberto Mancini’s side were deserved winners, having dominated throughout against the Potters, who were indebted to goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen for keeping the score line respectable.

However, he could do nothing about Toure’s winner, as the Ivorian reacted quickest to a loose ball to fire into the back of the net from 10-yards to send the City fans behind the goal into ecstasy.

It is a day that will live long in the memory and you watch the very best of the match action in the video above.
