Manchester City and Manchester United had to settle for a point as the first behind closed doors meeting between the two clubs produced a goalless affair.

The best chance of the game fell to City, with Riyad Mahrez shooting straight at David De Gea when he had time to pick his spot, whilst at the other end United saw a penalty decision overturned by VAR.
On-pitch referee Chris Kavanagh had penalised Kyle Walker for a foul on Marcus Rashford, only for replays to show the striker had been offside in the build-up.
Gabriel Jesus fired over on the half-volley for City and Scott McTominay was unable to connect with a Victor Lindelof flick on when he arrived unmarked at the far post and the lack of genuine goalmouth action meant neither side could complain about the point.
