After man-of-the-match Raheem Sterling had given City a fifth minute lead with a smartly taken strike, Kevin De Bruyne then extended our advantage from the penalty spot after Sterling had been brought down.
It could have been more with De Bruyne hitting the crossbar and City going close on several other occasions.

But it was a thoroughly deserved win - and the perfect way to mark Pep Guardiola‘s 700th game in charge - and 250th at the Etihad helm.
