Stunning strikes from John Stones and Erling Haaland saw City overturn a one-goal deficit at the Etihad Stadium.
Borussia Dortmund had taken the lead soon after the break when Jude Bellingham headed home from close-range, threatening to end our 20-match unbeaten home run in the competition.
But Stones, returning to the side following a minor injury, grabbed a spectacular equaliser with an unstoppable drive from long range.
And things got even better for City just four minutes later when Haaland’s incredible acrobatic volley from Joao Cancelo’s trivela cross earned us the victory at the death.
It was the Norwegian’s 13th goal in just nine appearances for his new Club, ensuring we moved three points clear at the top of Group G after two matches.
