Phil Foden claimed the fourth hat-trick of his City career to inspire Enzo Maresca’s side to a dominant Etihad victory over the Greek visitors.
A first City goal for Elliot Anderson had fired City ahead on 12 minutes before Foden then doubled the advantage just past the half hour.
Though the visitors halved the arrears just after the break, a fine Rayan Cherki strike restored City’s two-goal advantage.
Foden then took centre stage once more, scoring on 65 and 76 minutes to both bring up his treble and set the seal on an impressive night’s work from him and City.
