Watch brief highlights from our terrific 4-1 win over Arsenal.

There was no question that this was a vital game in the title race and it was City who earned a valuable three points against the Gunners.

The result put us two points behind our visitors but with two games in hand for Pep Guardiola’s men.

It was a thoroughly deserved maximum haul too after a performance laced with industry, energy and class all over the pitch.

Kevin De Bruyne was man of the match after a two-goal haul.

His first was a wonderful 25 yard right foot strike on seven minutes to really light the touchpaper on an enthralling evening.

Erling Haaland had a host of chances to double the lead as City dominated the opening 45 minutes but it was John Stones who put us firmly in control with a headed goal right on the stroke of half-time, after VAR intervened to award it.

De Bruyne made it even more comfortable with a left-foot finish on 54 minutes to make it 3-0 but Rob Holding pulled one back for the visitors on 86 minutes with the clock ticking down.

Haaland wasn’t to be denied as he scored in the fifth minute of injury time to take his tally across all competitions to 49 goals, a quite remarkable feat.
