Ilkay Gunodgan combined with Erling Haaland before opening the scoring with his 50th goal for the Club, before Kevin De Bruyne’s brilliant outside of the boot effort doubled our lead.
City added a third before half-time when Phil Foden latched onto De Bruyne’s well-timed pass and fired beyond Mark Travers and, whilst Bournemouth proved more stubborn after the break, Jefferson Lerma’s own goal ensured the scoreline reflected our superiority.
