To celebrate the return of the much-loved Blue Run at the Etihad Campus, on March 25, the club’s charity, City in the Community (CITC), set Manchester City duo, Demi Stokes and Alanna Kennedy, the challenge of answering questions about each other.
However, there was a special Blue Run twist. On the other end of a video call were two CITC BTEC students, each paired to either Demi or Alanna.
Each time a player got a question wrong, their respective student would be covered in blue paint.
There could only be one winner!
Watch to find out who came out on top, and who went home feeling blue…
Don’t forget you can still sign up to CITC’s Blue Run!
We have two distance options for fans to choose from. Your mini Blue may enjoy taking on 2.5km route whilst the 5km option offers more of a challenge.
It’s your choice to run, walk or even dance your way around the route.
The Blue Run route will take you from the Etihad Stadium to the City Football Academy, whilst being covered in blue powder along the way!
Every penny raised will go towards supporting City in the Community’s work, which empowers healthier lives through football for people across Greater Manchester.
This year you can also take part in the Blue Run through a new minigame on Blue Moon, the Club’s experience on Roblox.
City in the Community has created a virtual version of its much-loved Blue Run event, which sees fans complete a route around the Etihad Campus, all whilst being covered in blue paint on Saturday 25 March.
The minigame, which launched on Friday 17 February, will be located inside on the caves on Blue Moon and will see avatars enjoy an obby race either alone or with their friends, whilst being covered in virtual blue paint.
While fans race through the course, their avatar will be wearing the limited-edition Blue Run t-shirt.
Fans can RSVP for the virtual Blue Run on Roblox early with the link provided below.
The Blue Run minigame will be live until Saturday 25 March, when thousands of people will take part in the real event both at the Etihad Campus and from home; choosing a 2.5km or 5km route.
Those who complete the Virtual Blue Run will then be given a discount code use when signing-up for the in-person event either at the Etihad or from home.

One of Manchester City’s key priorities is to ensure that we manage safe environments for people online. Man City would like to be proactive in child safeguarding and provide support for users in the Blue Moon experience. For all users who enter the experience, we will be providing additional safety reminders and resources on how to report misconduct.
