Bernardo slid a close-range finish between Jordan Pickford’s legs in the closing stages to complete a one-sided victory that sent City back up to second in the table.
Such was our dominance, Guardiola’s men could have won by a greater margin.
Sterling had a penalty decision overturned by VAR after he fell to the floor after making contact with Michael Keane, whilst Pickford made smart stops from Bernardo and Cole Palmer and Ilkay Gundogan saw a looping header bounce onto the top of the crossbar with the Everton ‘keeper beaten.
