The wait is almost over as we get ready for the start of another campaign with a trip to Chelsea on Sunday at 16:30 (UK).
Ahead of that game, remind yourself of some of City’s great opening days, starting back in 1992 when our first Premier League clash was a Monday night encounter with QPR.
