The best of the action from our 2-2 draw with the Seagulls...

Two sides both committed to attacking football and both chasing a top five finish.

It was always going to be a bright and open clash - and so it proved as City and Brighton shared four goals.

Brighton were first to threaten and saw an early goal chalked off for handball before the Blues went ahead shortly after through when Erling Haaland converted a penalty on 11 minutes.

Brighton fought back to make it 1-1 from a free-kick on 21 minutes and both teams had chances before Omar Marmoush restored City’s lead before half-time with a powerful shot in off the post.

Abdukodir Khusanov was unlucky to see the ball hit his thigh and roll over the line to make it 2-2 just after the restart and though both teams had chances to win the game, it ended a point apiece.
