City suffered derby disappointment at Old Trafford as we slipped to a 2-1 defeat to United in the 189th Manchester derby.

In a tightly contested affair, Jack Grealish came on off the bench to head City into a 60th minute lead.

However, United drew level 12 minutes from time in controversial circumstances as Bruno Fernandes levelled from 15 yards.

The effort was initially disallowed with Marcus Rashford in an offside position, but referee Stuart Attwell overruled the initial ruling, adjudging that Rashford was not interfering with play.

And City’s frustration was then compounded four minutes later when Rashford fired home the winner from close range to earn the hosts all three points.
