Just four games into Guardiola‘s life as a Premier League manager, the Catalan came up against old nemesis Jose Mourinho.
City had started the campaign excellently, winning all three games prior to this trip across the city.
And it was another exceptional start in this match, when De Bruyne put us ahead after bursting through the defence and slotting beyound David De Gea.
Iheanacho extended our lead in the 36th minute when he reacted quickest to De Bruyne‘s attempt that struck the post and bounced back out.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic pulled one back for the hosts a few minutes before the break but it wasn’t enough to get them back in it.
