In Melbourne, Australia, young leaders such as Blake and Izzy are preparing WASH and football sessions to educate young participants on how to better look after water.  

Water levels in Melbourne have declined 30% in the last six years due to drought.

Speaking about these water challenges, Blake commented: “In Australia, especially in Melbourne, we roll from drought to floods.

“So, along with Xylem, we at Melbourne City are tackling issues through football sessions to teach kids about water consumption and about how to save water properly.”

This Cityzens Giving project is delivered in partnership City in the Community Melbourne.
