The 195th Manchester derby is just around the corner...

We’ll host our cross-city rivals at 16:30 (UK) on Sunday 15 December with local bragging rights once again at stake.

While we’re not in our best run of form at the moment, we’ve had the beating of Manchester United in recent seasons - winning five of our last six Premier League encounters.

Our last two meetings have come outside of the league of course, with United winning the FA Cup and City claiming the Community Shield.

In our last three league home games with the other half of Manchester, we’ve scored a whopping 13 goals - including six in the October 2022 thrashing that features heavily in this video.

Phil Foden and Erling Haaland both got hat-tricks that day as we started to pick up pace in the historic Treble-winning season.

This feature also remembers a crunching Gareth Barry tackle back in 2010 that typified exactly what this rivalry is all about.

Finally, we see the thumping Vincent Kompany header back in the spring of 2012 that no fan will ever forget.
