The message comes from... Nico’s mum.
“I always remember, when you were about three months old, I looked at you and I knew you were special,” she says in a direct message to her pride and joy. .
“Nothing in the world makes me happier than watching you play football, son - you know that.
“I’ve always believed in you, and I always will. You’ve never changed - don’t ever change - I am so proud of you. Congratulations, son.”
It’s a lovely, heartfelt message from the person who means the most to our young star - and he does well to keep composed as he watches at the CFA studio.
“I’ve always been there by her side,” says Nico when explaining what his mum means to him.
“She brought me up by herself. I’m just happy I am making her proud.”
