City have an excellent record at our cross-city rivals, with no side beating them more since the inception of the Premier League.
In that time, we’ve scored 37 goals with several victories forming crucial parts of our title charges.
This feature takes us through all those wins, painting the scene ahead of the 198th Manchester derby in total on Saturday.
First up we go to Pep Guardiola’s maiden City season, when Kevin De Bruyne and Kelechi Iheanacho got the goals for the perfect day out.
Then it’s back to 2013/14, with Manuel Pellegrini’s team putting United to the sword in the midst of a three-way title challenge.
In 2023/24, an Erling Haaland double and Phil Foden goal helped us to our record fourth Premier League title in a row.
Then, in 2007/08 we ended 34 years of pain at Old Trafford with the win on a poignant day for Manchester.
And so, back to Pep’s time in charge and the 2017/18 Centurion season, with David Silva and Nicolas Otamendi forcing home the goals.
Bernardo Silva and Leroy Sane took centre stage the following season before a comprehensive 2-0 win in 2020/21.
And then we venture back to Roberto Mancini’s time in charge, with a Sergio Aguero special in 2012/13 and perhaps our most famous win of all back in 2011/12.
Set to stirring music, it’s a brilliant reminder of our extraordinary recent past at the home of our biggest rivals.
Can we make it 10 Premier League wins there on Saturday?
