It’s a tough ask because fans have been treated to some terrific efforts by the men’s Premier League champions in a season when we won Four-in-a-Row and triumphed in the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.
There have been all kinds of goals too, which makes the task all the harder.
Amongst the contenders are three from Etihad Player of the Season Phil Foden – his effort against Everton, his sensational strike against Manchester United and his early opener on the final day against West Ham, a result that secured the title.
Rodrigo enjoys two nominations, meanwhile, his late winner away at Sheffield United and his delicious drive in the remarkable 4-4 draw at Chelsea.
