It is the second time in two months the Croatian defender has won the award after his stunning curler at Wolves in October.
This month’s winner came in a defeat on the south coast at the very beginning of the window.
With City 2-0 down and less than 10 minutes remaining, Josko Gvardiol rose highest to meet Ilkay Gundogan‘s cross.
His header proved too powerful for Mark Travers in the Bournemouth goal who succeeded only in pushing the ball into the roof of his net.
It marked his eighth City goal in 58 appearances - a remarkable tally for a defender.
City fans selected this goal ahead of strikes from Emilio Lawrence, Jess Park, Jill Roord, Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw and Erling Haaland to take the accolade.
