The nominees for September's Nissan Goal of the Month prize have been revealed...

City’s unbeaten run in the Premier League continues along with another month of unbeaten fixtures in all competitions.

September saw the addition of the UEFA Champions League and Carabao Cup to our schedule which meant Pep Guardiola‘s side played five fixtures last month.

And we also saw the Women’s team begin their 2024/25 campaign with fixtures in the UEFA Champions League Round Two qualifying stage and the Barclays Women’s Super League.

This meant it was hard to dwindle down a list of the best goals for fans to vote from...

City’s number nine, Erling Haaland just can’t stop scoring! Does his second strike - assisted by Ederson - in our 2-1 win over Brentford get your vote?

Gareth Taylor‘s side drew 2-2 with Arsenal in our first outing in the WSL.

Jess Park‘s phenomenal strike from the edge of the box put City ahead in the second half. Perhaps even a contender for goal of the season?

Haaland hit a century with his goal against Arsenal. Does his 100th for the Club get your vote?

Is there anything better than a late, decisive strike? John Stones snatched a point for City in the dying embers of our encounter with Arsenal. How vital could that goal, and that point, be in the run-in for the title?

In cup action, Jeremy Doku‘s quick turn gave him space to punish Watford with our high press and in turn put us ahead in our Carabao Cup tie.

Matheus Nunes‘s first goal for the Club, in the 2-1 win over Watford, is also included in the shortlist.

And the final goal is our most recent effort in the Premier League. Josko Gvardiol‘s goal helped City earn a point at St James’ Park against tough opponents Newcastle.
