Bernardo Silva’s stunning volley away to Aston Villa is unlikely to be bettered this season and with more than 50% of the public vote, it is our December winner.
It was a goal created by Fernandinho‘s long pass out to the right flank for Gabriel Jesus, and the Brazilian’s perfect cross fell perfectly for Bernardo to place a powerful left-foot volley into the top left corner.
A beautiful goal - and for the Etihad Player of the Month for September, October and November, it continues his run of individual monthly awards.
Joao Cancelo’s strike at Newcastle finished runner-up on this occasion.
