Foden, who earned the Premier League Player of the Season and FWA Footballer of the Year for his performances across 2023/24, collected yet more honours today for his effort in the 3-1 win over our neighbours in the home derby clash at the Etihad.
City were 1-0 down to an eighth minute Marcus Rashford effort from 30 yards in the March 2024 encounter but then Foden stepped forward to make his mark.
The playmaker’s leveller on 56 minutes, a screamer into the top corner from 20 yards, was voted our Goal of the Season by supporters.

He then put us in front with another quality goal on 80 minutes before Erling Haaland wrapped up an important – and deserved - three points in stoppage time.
Oscar Bobb’s winner at Newcastle came in second spot in our poll, with Kevin De Bruyne’s wonderful effort at Crystal Palace finishing in third.
