Pep Guardiola’s side became the first men’s team in English top-flight history to secure the feat following a euphoric 3-1 win over West Ham at the Etihad Stadium on the final day of the league term.
Phil Foden broke the deadlock inside the second minute and doubled our advantage soon after before Mohammed Kudus reduced the deficit for the Hammers.

For Gallagher, the fact Academy graduate and Premier League Player of the Year Foden played a starring role made the day even sweeter.
“I didn’t think it would be a nervy day,” he explained.
“But we wanted an early goal and when it’s a former ball boy and City fan, one of us, who put that in the top corner after 79 seconds, of all the things you could see on a day like this – that was outrageous.
“For Phil to put us two up, just about summed it all up. We wiped out the goal difference, we scored the most goals, we’re the best team with the best coach. That’s the end of it.
“It was incredible and it is incredible. We should never downplay it. It’s never happened before. For me, and people of my generation, this is it. This is it.”
