As part of the Club’s pre-season tour, four City players visited paediatric patients at North Carolina Children’s Hospital.

Erling Haaland, Kalvin Phillips, Nico O’Reilly and Mahamadou Susoho surprised the young children with gifts, including signed shirts and footballs, alongside the Premier League trophy.

The facility works as a major referral centre for young people with complex conditions across the state.

Joined by Moonchester and Moonbeam, the visit provided an unforgettable experience for some of the patients, who got to meet and chat with their heroes.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT CITY’S USA TOUR

Haaland, for example, chatted at length with one fan, convincing him that being a forward was the best position to play, while Phillips was given a quarter by a young girl as a thank you for the visit.

It was a poignant moment and an example of the incredible bond that the players share with our fans from around the world.
