Oleks Zinchenko sounded a special salute to Ederson after the City keeper capped another clean sheet by producing an incredible assist for Ilkay Gundogan in our 3-0 win over Tottenham.

The Brazilian launched a stunning pin-point 70 yard pass which put Gundogan in behind the Spurs defence before the German dispatched his second goal and City’s third to seal our 16th consecutive win in all competitions.

It was just the latest demonstration of Ederson’s superb footballing skill and left Zinchenko in awe and admiration.

“Oh my gosh, I said to him ‘You have more assists already in the Premier League than me! But his quality is unbelievable,” Zinchenko joked afterwards.

“For sure, he is showing that he is one of the best keepers in the world right now and his game with his feet is something else.”
