Relive a memorable triumph at Old Trafford which happened on this day nine years ago...

A late Sergio Aguero strike was enough to hand City all three points in the Manchester derby as Roberto Mancini’s men came away with a 2-1 victory.

James Milner had grabbed the game’s opening goal early in the second half when he rifled an effort into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.

But the hosts levelled soon after when Phil Jones’ header from a Robin Van Persie free-kick deflected into the City net off the back of Vincent Kompany just before the hour mark.

Undeterred, Roberto Mancini’s men continued to search for the ascendancy once again and we found it with 12 minutes to play.

Aguero picked up play on the City left before skipping away from Rio Ferdinand, Danny Welbeck and Phil Jones and firing an unstoppable drive into the roof of David De Gea’s net.
