Nico O'Reilly revealed he relishes the chance to play in any position for Pep Guardiola's side following our 3-0 Premier League victory over Fulham.

Goals from Antoine Semenyo, O’Reilly and Erling Haaland did the damage at the Etihad Stadium as we closed the gap to league-leaders Arsenal to three points.

Academy graduate O’Reilly began the season at left-back, before moving into a holding midfield role and has recently been deployed in an advanced midfield position by Pep, showcasing his impressive versatility.

Speaking in his interview with City Studios after the victory over the Cottagers, O’Reilly admitted he enjoys operating in any position necessary in this City side.

“I mean I grew up there [in midfield] my whole life so i know the role pretty well. But yeah I enjoy playing anywhere really in this team.

“The team is amazing. Rayan is doing so good at left-back as well. So I don’t mind if I’m left back, attacking midfielder, CDM, anywhere. I don’t mind.

“I’m over the moon with tonight. Got the three points. Scored three goals. The three points was the most important thing really.

“That’s what we need to keep doing. need to keep pushing for it. I think we’re building great momentum.”

The youngster also spoke about shooting from distance and touched on the importance of continuing to pick up points from now until the end of the season.
