He may have only been here two years, but in that time it’s fair to say Elano made a huge impact on the Club.
Between 2007 and 2009, the Brazilian playmaker established himself as a huge favourite at the Etihad thanks to his mercurial skills, countless assists and magnificent goals – including one extraordinary free-kick against Newcastle.
