Ahead of this weekend's Premier League tie with Arsenal, take a trip down memory lane...

We return to the Etihad Stadium to face Mikel Arteta’s side on Sunday in a 16:30 (UK) kick-off for another heavyweight clash.

Victory would see us keep the pressure on league leader’s Arsenal as we enter the ‘business end’ of the season.

To get in the mood, we look back on our recent strikes from our head-to-heads at the Etihad, starting with Ferran Torres in 2021/22 as he followed up Ilkay Gundogan’s opener in the 5-0 Gunners win.

In that August 2021 encounter, a Gabriel Jesus close-range effort came next, while a Rodri long ranger made it 4-0 for the Blues before Torres wrapped up the victory as his header rippled the net.

A Kevin De Bruyne attempt opened the scoring in 2022/23’s 4-1 triumph while John Stones’ headed attempt found De Bruyne’s cross to double our advantage.

The Belgian midfielder was on the scoresheet again that day before Erling Haaland rounded off another prolific occasion for City.

The Norwegian striker was on the scoresheet once again in 2024/25 before Arsenal came back to lead with the game seeing Stones round off the scoring late, late on to make it 2-2.
