During City's US Tour, Pablo Zabaleta and Joleon Lescott were invited to throw the first pitch at Minute Maid Park for the Houston Astros v Oakland Athletics game!

After getting in a bit of practice before leaving the hotel, Pablo and Joleon tried their hand at pitching before speaking the local press.

The former City duo also spent time with members of the Houston team ahead of their latest Major League Baseball fixture.

Mascots Moonchester and Moonbeam were also in attendance, hopping in the back of a truck to entertain supporters with the Astros’ equivalent - Orbit - before the game.

The duo joked about who would throw the best pitch, and when the time eventually came for Pablo and Joleon were handed the latest Houston jerseys to wear.

They were even provided with each of the baseballs they pitched as a special souvenir of a memorable afternoon.
