Instead, the Club then arranged to link up with him while we were in Mexico City on the Trophy Tour on the pretext of gauging his thoughts on what it was like to be an Official Supporters Club member in the country – and what it meant to him to be a City supporter.
Branch chair Marcos, meanwhile, had demonstrated his own dedication to the Club by embarking on a 10-hour bus journey in order to meet up with the Trophy Tour party in Mexico City.
Established in August 2021, the Mexico City branch are the first and only branch in the country and are going from strength to strength.
