Pep Guardiola says his team have reached a position where each and every game is now a final.

The Blues are still in four competitions having reached the fifth round of the FA Cup, final of the Carabao Cup, Champions League Round of 16 and trail Premier League leaders Arsenal by four points.

The City boss says any poor performances from hereon in could prove particularly costly as the jeopardy levels rise.

“We will take a break, but on Wednesday, I want to see them ready and focused,” said Pep.

“When we arrive at this stage of the season, every game is a final.

“It is almost March and the sky will be more blue and our mood will be better. It’s important to be there and I know we will do it well.

“Games every three days, in the Premier League if you lose, we are out. It has been so demanding for the lack for recovery.

“But players are back, Rodri is playing minutes, and not a step back.”
