Reis has made 29 league appearances for the La Liga outfit since arriving in August 2025 from the Blues.
Guardiola has been watching on from afar and been very impressed with how the young Brazilian has done as he gets set for his final six games of the 2025/26 campaign starting with an away clash against Valencia on Saturday.
His displays have not gone unnoticed at international level, either, with the 20-year-old having earned his first call-up for Brazil in the last window.

“My info from Girona is he has been unbelievable the way he played,” the manager told the media.
“The reason why he went there was because of the age, have not much options to play here and to grow up as a player. He did it.
“He’s faced the best strikers in Spain and it’s not easy to deal with but he grow a lot.
“The people at Girona are so pleased and happy.
“The decision of what will happen we will take at the end of the season.”
