Pep Guardiola says his players are ready for Arsenal to push us all the way for a third successive season.

The Gunners have been our closest challengers in each of the last two campaigns, with City emerging victorious in the end.

Guardiola’s side are now the first to ever win the English top-flight title four years in a row.

The two title contenders played out an entertaining 2-2 draw at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, with City on top for much of the afternoon.

Erling Haaland’s 100th City goal got us off to a good start before Riccardo Calafiori and Gabriel turned it around.

A Leandro Trossard red card had our visitors down to 10 men before City’s relentless push for an equaliser was eventually rewarded with a late John Stones leveller.

After the game, Guardiola made it clear his team are ready for another tussle.

“We know the battle and we talk about it after the game,” he stated.

“This is the level of our contenders, we handle it and we accept the challenge. 99 points to go, we will see what happens.”
