The 28-year-old wasn’t selected for England’s Euros campaign in Germany but has returned to training with City in the US and has played in both our matches so far.
And Guardiola, speaking ahead of our third pre-season game against Barcelona in Orlando on Tuesday, says he is delighted with Grealish’s attitude since returning from his five-week break.
“Any complaints no - completely the opposite. The body language and his behaviour is the opposite, it’s the Jack we knew,” the City boss said.
“In the right moment he will be back at his best because we need him.
“[Missing out on the England squad] was not something we needed to talk about.
“Hopefully it can be the spark to move forward - sometimes you need something to ignite yourself and be even better.”
