Pep Guardiola has expressed his delight at winning his third Premier League title.

And the boss says he cannot wait for the final game of the season at home to Everton so he can celebrate with our supporters.

In a season like no other, City have shown togetherness and determination to seal a third Premier League success in four years, despite a gruelling, relentless fixture schedule played against the backdrop of a global COVID-19 pandemic.

Our fans have been unable to be with us, other than at the recent Carabao Cup final, but that will change on Sunday 23 May when 10,000 City fans enter the Etihad Stadium to see us lift the trophy.

Guardiola says it will be a special day.

“I am looking forward to Everton game,” he said.

“We will lift the trophy and 10,000 are coming.

“In the Carabao Cup just a few people were there and it was so different.

“This business without the people is not the same.”
