Pep Guardiola says he is not looking further than trying to secure a place in the quarter-finals in the Champions League

City face a tough game in the last-16 against German side RB Leipzig with the first leg at the Red Bull Arena on Wednesday night, kick-off 20:00 (UK).

And the City boss said the focus is purely on our Bundesliga opponents and a mission to play our best football to try to secure a place in the European quarter-finals.

“The dream is to go forward, do a good game tomorrow and go to the quarter-finals,” he said.

“It’s a great competition. This morning I was in England, we took a plane and we dressed beautifully to fly!

“We’re going to Europe to try to show our football in a new stadium, new culture in Germany where the stadiums are beautiful and passionate and the people are nice.”
